Wondering what to make when there are hardly any vegetables at home? Among the many dishes that are possible with minimum or no vegetables, Dal-Potato curry is one.
Ingredients:
Potatoes - 2 small, chopped to one inch size
Tur Dal - 100 gms
Dry Red Chilly flakes - 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves - 5 to 6 leaves
Coconut Oil - one tea spoon for garnishing
Salt - to taste

Add raw tur dal, chopped potatoes, chilly flakes and salt (to taste) in a pressure cooker. Add around 350 ml of water into the pressure cooker and cook these together.
Once cooked well, open the cooker lid and transfer the contents into a serving bowl. Add curry leaves and garnish with one tablespoon of coconut oil.
This dish goes well with Chapatti and one of the easiest dishes to cook.
